The way this works is you are given a slate of 10 games every week and you make ONE pick that you are certain that you got right. You can only pick a team ONCE for an entire season, and the system will not allow you to pick them again. If you get it right, you advance to the next week. If you get it wrong, you get a strike against you. Since it's triple elimination, after your third strike, you are eliminated. The entry fee is $15.

The last one standing wins 85% of the eligible pot, and 2nd place gets the other 15%. In theory, the season could end halfway through if only one person is left. We will continue on all the way to the NC game if that's what it takes to determine a winner, but I would expect to have one long before that.

I will use a slate of 10 games that I think are the biggest toss-ups. These are straight up picks, no spread.

Here are the players:

1. gatormandan
2. RiverRat
3. Mr2Bits

This will be the single thread for the entire 2025 Survivor season – keep all league chatter in here. Every week, I will update the thread and post the stats here.

How to play:

First, you'll now see a "Pick 'Em" tab at the top of the forum. Click on it. When you open it you'll see this page - click this "X" to remove that filter.

Here you will see the open pools. You'll see one open for "2025 NCAA Football Survivor".

Once you click on the pool you want to join, click the "Join Pool" button in the upper right.

Then you can click the "Manage your picks" button in the upper right to view or make your picks. Remember, you can change any of your picks up to 30 minutes before kickoff.

17 strikes in Week 1!

Week 2 is open. Good luck, suckers.

Keep in mind the AP Top 25 isn't out yet, after it does I'll update any rankings.

I obviously have no idea how to play this one. First time I've tried Survivor. I thought you only pick one game. I already have 3 strikes? Oh well, enjoy the donation.
How could you have 3 strikes after 1 week?

You made one pick and got it right. You have zero strikes. The 3 white strikes by your name turn red when you get a strike.

He was making a joke - FSU stood for Fresno State, not Florida State.

Week 2 - 15 total strikes.

After two weeks:

No strikes (13)
1 strike (26)
2 strikes (3)

Texas Tech is loaded with an insane payroll - shocked how many picked Utah to beat them.

one serving size with ice cream = when the spoon hits the bottom of the carton. then comes the "welp, since i'm already here" justification. the snack size is the perfect remedy for this.
 Snack size is the ONLY remedy for me. I justify ice cream serving by bowl size. No point in dirtying up a half filled bowl. Filler Up!

Blue Belle is the bomb. I get thier Sundae snack size occasionally. I can't do gallons and proportions at the same time.

Seedy's parents love Blue Belle ice cream. His mom found an earring in a container and they called the company. They sent them coupons for 6 more Blue Belle gallons.

By the way, old pressure cookers can be refurbished very cheap. Replace the seals, etc. through parts available online. Don't throw them away.

10 person operation. 6 pressure cookers. LOTS of propane.
outside I guess? I'll do about 20 pints or 10 quarts in a day and stop for weeks. We don't need as much now that the kids are gone though. I did a lot more tomatoes this year than in the past.

Obamacare fraud too. People get paid to sign people up to Obamacare plans. Some plans are free to the consumer; 100% subsidized. So a person gets paid to sign up a homeless person. Now the government is taking your tax dollars to pay for that policy. Meanwhile, the homeless person has no idea they have insurance coverage, they never use it. Insurance company pockets the premium payments year after year despite zero medical services being provided.
