Featured Napier firing imminent? Fuchs and Stricklin go into hiding

He is also really good at picking assistants, especially OCs, and he can leave a good HCIW like he did with Lincoln Riley. Stoops can then become AD.
Why do you think he wants to work 60+ hours a week. Even 1 mill probably doesn't register with him.

A search or steering committee, maybe.

My opinion. As things stand now and if you extrapolate with an open mind how this season plays out with Sling Blade given 2 full seasons and 3 games, chances of losing Lagway anyway are quite high. When a player can go anywhere to an already plug and play system with plenty of parts, there is no incentive to stay outside of money. But if money is at one it will be at another.

If firing the smooth brained retard results in lagway wanting to leave then he can freaking EABODs and GTFO too. If the kid wants to marry himself to a total loser then we don't want him anywhere near our program.

Anyone want to take a flier on Joe Brady? I'm not saying he's the right choice, but he brings a better offensive pedigree than our last coaches.

A lot of tidbits coming in to me:
  • Lot of people at the top scared firing Billy will make us lose Lagway
  • Arguing on WHEN to fire Billy, and who to promote to interim when they do
The tidbit I get from this. Just more proof that the so called "decision makers" at UF cannot do shyt.

If Lagway leaves, it frees up A LOT of NIL money for the next coach.
If Lane comes in, He can get a QB in the portal. I don't worry about that.
But, this is Florida. We are not going after a Power 5, big name coach. We are going after a mid major coach and we will end up with a QB from Wake Forrest or Illinois.

First point won’t change either way. Billy stays and we continue to blow, he leaves. Bring in a new coach that can sell him a vision…50/50

More:

1.) Unknown about Stricklin. Nothing will influence the A.D. hire or fire decision. Fuchs and UAA will make that decision.

2.) Remember, who Fuchs and Stricklin decide on transition/interim coach could change. But we were told over a week ago that there had been a "gauge" of some players and internal staff, quietly, and the RB coach was the consensus on who would be best for it.

What about Armstrong, heard he’s been asking to do something besides collect a check?

Too many pussies at Florida pussyfooting around . We are the laughingstock of
College football. Fire the man and get it over with . Make a decision for the love of Christ !

Let's just say that if they keep Stricklin, his power to hire coaches (any sport) has to be flushed. Have committees or something handle it. Let the man work as an administrator and fund raiser, if he's supposedly so good at that.
My take on strick the whole time. I don't think the AD needs to be a football guy or even the dude who needs to be the hire guy. We have SOS, urban, donors, former players and other coaches who know what it takes to be successful. Why isn't this a committe decision, a group effort.

The AD needs to administer the department. Do what you are good at. It obvious hiring football coaches isn't his thing, but if he can raise money and guide the department, then he is good.

or the stove with the center griddle section has an oval burner
  • PastyStoole PastyStoole:
Do you have burners that join together on the stove? That makes the oval pot more useable on the stove.

Like I said, I think I’m going to ask for it for Christmas. It’s rare for there to be something I want

I got one of those for my ex on mother's day one year. She loved it.

    That's a very good price.

I’m looking at the 8 QT. On sale for $299
  • PastyStoole PastyStoole:
I have two 7.25 QT dutch ovens. They are really good. I'm compelled to use them all the time mostly because they are so damned expensive. My kids are going to love them when they have kids of their own.

  • CaseyGator CaseyGator:
