There is a fine line between "being deliberate" and "waiting too long" to pull the trigger. If he rattles off a win against Mississippi State (and let's not pretend it is impossible given they were just throttled by Toledo yesterday) the thought of firing him after said win will be unpalatable to our spineless admin. If he plays UT at least halfway competitively they'll all say "he outperformed" and if we lose to UK the cope will be that they "almost beat UGA." 
I've seen this movie before. Everybody agrees, right now, that he blows chunks and needs to be escorted off campus. There are also risks associated with doing nothing.
