It's been a hideous slog for me on this board since Billy was hired. I was certainly naive to the fact that a coach, who was coming off some success, really could be THAT bad. Nothing the man did worked. Nothing.

I also didn't think those in charge would fire him this early, no matter how bad he was. The question now is whether or not anything happens with Scott Stricklin. I say no, but I've been wrong on everything, so perhaps my opinion is good news.

Just the fact that we won't have to spend every single day either complaining or arguing about Billy Napier on Gatorchatter is really welcome news.

I agree. I truly wanted Napier to succeed, but it's time to move on.

What is circling this morning:

The $26m is not only raised, it was raised some time ago.

The UF Board of Trustees has called for an unscheduled meeting this morning to discuss the football program.

Stricklin is not calling the shots. Neither is Fuchs.

Speculation is that Foley and Spurrier could be tasked with overseeing a transition that could include the ouster of Stricklin.

I have heard the first two from people I trust. The last two is interesting and I hope it's true.

I've also seen Dan Enos might be the Interim. F*** that no matter how much Deet wants it.

From everything that I’ve seen, Stricklin is going nowhere. There is agreement that an AD should not get a chance to hire three football coaches after hiring two bad ones, but it seems that he is not in danger at all.

I wasn’t in the 1 win camp, but was in the 5 or less camp in that poll we had before the season. I was ridiculed by many on here too for predicting anything less than 9 wins and a playoff birth. Lol

That is not surprising, the board of trustees do not know the topics of discussion either. That is how the UF admin works. SOP
