Game Thread ***OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: UF vs Miami***

I think the clear “for cause” violation was refusal to bring in a competent OC, QB coach and to turn over play calling duties despite being awful at it. Just point out how many times it has been suggested he needs to let someone else call the offense and how many times, year after year he refused.

I also think he should also be told that he is obviously not returning as coach next year due to his absolute failure but also he must turn over play calling immediately for the remainder of the games he coaches. He deserves nothing less than public humiliation and it could potentially get him to do something that would strengthen the for cause termination case.
I, obviously, do not know the terminology of CBN's contract, but like others have already stated, I believe there already is grounds for termination 'for cause'.
But, demanding someone else call the offense (whether it'll work or not) lest he be fired at year's end 'for cause' isn't a horrible idea.
At this point, we gotta try SOMETHING.

The sad thing is last night’s game was very winnable. If we had a good coach and staff, we probably win that game by 2 TDs even with us trotting out DJ the Easter Bunny at QB every series, because Miami isn’t that good.

I’ll repeat what I’ve said since Napier was hired and before. There’s no reason, OTHER THAN SHYTTY COACHING, that we shouldn’t have been minimum 9-3 in a down year and 10-2 or better most regular seasons for the past 15 years. We’ve had the talent every year to win, maybe not enough to play for a natty every year, but certainly enough to win 9-10 games before the bowl game.

Our problem is and has been shyyty coaching staffs, plain & simple.

Not “lest he be fired….”. You tell him in direct terms “regardless of the outcome of the rest of the season, you are fired. However you are going to fulfill your contract and coach out the season as a lame duck. More importantly, you are immediately removed from play calling duties. Russ Calloway will be preparing the game plan and calling the plays.” Then you set up a joint press conference and make Billy announce that he is being relieved of his duties as OC immediately and will not be returning as coach next year. Let the fans at least get a good laugh at the retard cuck. It’s the least we deserve after having to watch the dumbass sabotaging the program while he usurps 50 million dollars from us.

I usually kick back in the recliner with some bourbon or beers (lately both) for the games. I went to bed at halftime knowing full well that not only was there zero chance of any comeback but that our FB program was/is falling in an abyss of dysfunction that may take a decade to recover from. Maybe not quite that long with the NIL money but it will take years to recover.

Watching this special ed., short bus riding, drooling retard talk about the game like he's describing it to people that didn't actually see the game is infuriating to me. And to make ANY disparaging comments at all about the defense (not getting off the field on 3rd downs) show just how freaking disconnected from reality he is. How about you call out that offensive line? DJ has issues but he didn't have time to do shyt last night. The D is tough, the offense is reflective of the coach.

Not arguing any of your points, but you missed a very gritty 3rd Q by our Gators. scUM came out a little lax I think, and we took advantage. Shut down their 1st drive, ran it down their throats on an 80yd TD drive then Cormani made a hell of an INT that showed why he was so highly rated. We drove down again and looked like we might take the lead. It was a shocking reversal.

Then we came up short on a 4th down. The WR (Abrams) cut his route short of the sticks, which I saw as poor execution, a microcosm of Billy’s tenure. Get your hopes up then fail because you’re just not that well prepared. Abrams cuts his route short. DJ doesn’t see that, did he have any time to look elsewhere, could he have made a longer throw accurately…many issues on that play.

Then scUM woke up and pummeled us again. Better to have slept through that.

It did remind me that despite the inadequacies of the HC, the players did show some fight and guts. I’m going to focus on them while I wait on the necessary change. I hope they don’t give up, it’s a very steep and rocky road ahead.

I watched the 2nd half Sunday midday and that just pissed more off even more. Because what I saw was a team fighting their assess off to win a game with no help from their HBC, dumbass decision after dumbass decision. Not kicking the FG, still running 2 TE sets 80% of the time. I watched DJ take a sack when a dumpoff to Baugh probable goes to the house. He stays with he's deep reads TOO long to be behind that OL. and he doesn't anticipate the opening very well. He had some deep routes if he had just led the WR to the spot instead of waiting for them to be wide ass open. Throw them open please.

That is a outstanding way to handle the current situation. Humiliate the waterhead for the rest of the season the way he has humiliated the brand. And I don't think the team would flinch a bit. Eliminate the 2 TE sets and go 4-5 WR with Baugh in the backfield. That's pretty much what DJ ran in HS. Wilson, VBIII, Mizzell, Sturdivant and Hansen and Hawkins depending on the play. Now go ahead and put 8 in the box and see how that works out.

We should just let the Sports Management guys do a study for the rest of the season and let an AI run the offense. Literally would probably be magnitudes better productions. I'm shocked this isn't happening. Pick a control set of coaches - train the AI model - give it a playbook - feed it the game. It will 100% do better than all the dip****s like Billy - and probably better than 75% of the coaches in America (better than our last 4 for sure).
Btw, I was half-serious about this. Looked into it. AI 100% banned in the NFL during games. De facto banned in college (not explicitly, but tech and data limits make it practically impossible to implement). Guess in this case it doesn't matter that our nVidia co-founder alum doesn't like football.

Hi Ladies/Gents,

I am brand new here as a member, however, I have been a lurker for years. So...

I think that we MIGHT win this game, just because that seems to be the MO of Napier, and it is a home game, but that doesn't seem to matter much anymore. However, I do not think we will win this game. If we are losing big, I wonder how many start chanting "Fire Billy" before they march out.

I want Napier gone faster than I get pwned in COD.

:)

He’s not gonna make it. Posting in the Miami thread instead of the Texas thread.

one serving size with ice cream = when the spoon hits the bottom of the carton. then comes the "welp, since i'm already here" justification. the snack size is the perfect remedy for this.
 Snack size is the ONLY remedy for me. I justify ice cream serving by bowl size. No point in dirtying up a half filled bowl. Filler Up!

By the way, old pressure cookers can be refurbished very cheap. Replace the seals, etc. through parts available online. Don't throw them away.

10 person operation. 6 pressure cookers. LOTS of propane.
outside I guess? I'll do about 20 pints or 10 quarts in a day and stop for weeks. We don't need as much now that the kids are gone though. I did a lot more tomatoes this year than in the past.

Obamacare fraud too. People get paid to sign people up to Obamacare plans. Some plans are free to the consumer; 100% subsidized. So a person gets paid to sign up a homeless person. Now the government is taking your tax dollars to pay for that policy. Meanwhile, the homeless person has no idea they have insurance coverage, they never use it. Insurance company pockets the premium payments year after year despite zero medical services being provided.
